Native to the forests of Costa Rica, Monstera esqueleto is a hardy, hard-to-find climbing vine renowned for its bold, bright green leaves. These dramatic leaves, which can reach nearly 3 feet in length at maturity, feature a signature fenestration pattern—a large opening paired with a small one—that gives the plant its distinctive skeletal appearance, reminiscent of its relatives Monstera obliqua and andasonii.

Growing to 6 feet or more, Monstera esqueleto makes a stunning floor plant, adding tropical elegance and sculptural charm to any interior space. Monstera Basic Care: Easy

Water: Consistent watering is key. Allow the top two inches of soil to dry out before watering again.

Light: Prefers medium to bright indirect light. Protect from direct sunlight to prevent burning the foliage.

Soil/Drainage: Thrives in an aroid mix, but tropical houseplant soil is also adequate.

Temperature/Humidity: Ideal humidity is up to 80%, but with the proper care, it can adapt to average household humidity.

Tips: Use a moss pole to provide necessary support as it grows.

-We ship every Monday and Tuesday (excluding holidays) to avoid weekend delays.

-Hold off on watering if the soil is still moist, and wait 2-4 weeks before repotting or fertilizing. This patience will help your plant adjust smoothly without going into shock.
